Individual Therapy

Support for anxiety, depression, stress, overwhelm and the patterns that keep returning.

You may know exactly what has brought you here, or you may only know that you do not feel like yourself. Therapy gives you room to slow down, understand what is happening, and begin making changes that fit your actual life.

You do not have to diagnose yourself before asking for help.

  • Anxiety, worry, and overthinking
  • Depression, disconnection, and low energy
  • Stress, identity, and repeating patterns

Understanding what you are carrying

It does not always look the way you expected.

Anxiety is not always panic. It can look like overthinking, irritability, difficulty resting, needing to stay in control, or preparing for problems that have not happened.

Depression is not always constant sadness. It can look like exhaustion, disconnection, low motivation, numbness, or continuing to function while feeling absent from your own life.

Stress, grief, trauma, relationships, health changes, family expectations, and long-carried responsibilities can overlap. You do not need to diagnose yourself before asking for help. We begin with what you are experiencing and make sense of it together.

You do not have to make the pieces neat first.

What brings people here

Start with what you are experiencing.

Anxiety, Worry and Overthinking

When your mind and body rarely feel fully at rest.

  • Persistent worry or expecting the worst
  • Overthinking decisions or conversations
  • Panic, tension, irritability, or difficulty sleeping
  • Feeling responsible for keeping everything together

Depression, Disconnection and Loss of Energy

When life feels heavier, flatter, or harder to enter than it once did.

  • Low motivation, fatigue, or emotional numbness
  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or other people
  • Loss of interest, hope, confidence, or direction
  • Functioning on the outside while struggling privately

Stress, Identity and Repeating Patterns

When the same pressures or responses keep showing up in different parts of your life.

  • Burnout, caregiving strain, or major responsibilities
  • People-pleasing, perfectionism, or difficulty setting boundaries
  • Life-stage, career, health, family, or identity changes
  • Patterns in relationships, self-worth, or decision-making

Jean-Ann's approach

Clear, compassionate and built around you.

Jean-Ann's work is warm and compassionate, but it is not vague. She listens for what is actually true, helps you understand the pattern underneath it, and gives you practical ways to respond differently.

Psychoeducation is an important part of the work: when you understand what your mind and body are doing, you have more choice in what happens next.

Peace is not perfection. Peace is integration.

  1. Name What Is Happening

We begin with what you are noticing, what has changed, and what is taking the most from you right now.

  2. Understand the Pattern

Together, we look at what shaped the pattern, what keeps it active, and what it may once have helped you manage or survive.

  3. Practice a Different Response

We build practical ways to manage emotions, change unhelpful patterns, strengthen boundaries, and move through life with greater clarity.
